Been a busy bee w/ work and getting ready to go out of town. I will be leaving the man-boy and dog at home to go back and visit some friends and family. And when you're on vacation that means eating out a lot. It should be interesting to see how good I can eat when we're out. I definitely have to hit up Culver's. Butterburgers and frozen custards is where it's at! I'll miss the man-boy even though it's only for a few days. But I did eat pretty well today:
- plum
- coffee (with 1 1/2 teaspoon of sugar; I'm trying to cut down on my sugar)
- 2 slices multi-grain toast w/ butter
- 2 eggs over medium
- big salad w/ beets, celery, red onions, left over rotisserie chicken, sunflower seeds
- organic dark chocolate w/ blueberries
- apple
- chicken salad (homemade) sandwich on 2 slices of mutli-grain toast
I think that's it!

Single mom
I'm not really why my ads are about single moms but I'm neither. "Socially Alienated Person" ad? I obviously need to write about other subjects other than what I eat and how little Timmy is crimping my dating life...
So camping was really fun but I guess if you do it in a camper then it's not really camping. I say it's a start, especially for a city slicker like myself. I kind of want to get a camper now. Just a small one. Maybe when I start working a real job...
I have this artichoke but I've never cooked one before so I've been googling to see how it is done. I don't think I have had a fresh artichoke so this should be interesting... OK, I just finished watching on how to cook an artichoke and they seem like a pain in the ass!

NOM NOM NOM - 6/19/09
Meal log sounds kind of gross so I changed it to "nom nom nom" because that is what I sound like when I eat. Anyway, hectic day at work today. Two elderly sisters were arguing w/ each other so that was entertaining...
- breakfast burrito w/ 2 scrambled eggs and salsa
- cup of coffee
- cheddar cheese burger w/ salsa on top and some potato chips on the side
* I originally was going to have the stir-fry leftovers from the night before for lunch but one of my co-workers offered to bring me back a burger she grilled so I couldn't be rude and say no. I could have also eaten a piece of chocolate-frosted cake that was sitting in front of me in the break room. Another co-worker bakes a cake whenever someones birfday comes up so that was why the cake was there... I digress
- 1 nectarine
- handful of raw almonds
- some homemade beef jerky
- chicken stir-fry leftovers w/ white rice topped w/ a little Kimlan soy sauce
I'm trying to get ready for the camping trip tomorrow and also crash a poker party as well. They better be ready for my poker face!

Meal log - 6/18/09
I told a little bird I would put up what I eat everyday so here it goes. This is actually for Thursday and not today.
- handful of blueberries
- classic scrambled with bacon and 2 pieces of toast and coffee
- apple
- chicken stir-fry with white rice (pictured)
- late night snack of oatmeal w/ flax in nonfat milk
I kind of skipped lunch because I was out all day running errands and getting ready for my camping trip! Last one I went to was back in 7th grade. Oh, also got in some catching up time with my homie, Erica.

Jon and Kate ain't got shit on this
Eight kids? Psh, try having 14 and being a single parent! But seriously, you guys have heard about the woman in California who just had octuplets, right? I didn't really care much about the story until more details came out about the mother and her situation. Here's a link if you're not aware:

Yeah. Being pro-choice, I really do believe women should have a voice over what they want to do with their body but isn't this a bit bat shit insane? A single parent and living at home? I guess it's nice she has her parents to help with the litter but there's all kinds of wrong going on. I think single parents can raise a child or two well but not fucking 14 kids! Ethical questions are raised and there is a thin line between freedom of choice and not letting people crazy people do whatever they want.
This is an extreme idea but I propose having a license to have children. You can't technically drive a car without having a license so why can't have people pass a test for having kids? It's a stretch but this shit makes me mad.
